I love food and travel, and the social sector.

An educator by training, and strategist by profession – I’m both a fiercely passionate advocate of the nonprofit / “social good” sector and extremely critical of it. I’m known for my no-BS, honest and often a humorous approach to work. Outside “work”, I’m extremely dedicated to binge watching my favorite TV shows, and taking care of chores during commercial breaks. A self professed foodie, I sometimes write about eating and travel here.

Once upon a time, I lived in an extremely healthy city [ahem, Seattle], and was forced to participate in hiking, skiing, biking, swimming and other sweat inducing activities while munching on granola bars and kale salads. Since shifting ‘temporarily’ to India, I’ve found absolutely no need for above mentioned actives and now spend most of my time time yelling at auto-rickshaw drivers, shopping for groceries, and waiting for my US-based friends to wake up for FaceTime/Skype calls.
